Honestly, you just need to be more aggressive.

At our retreat this summer, I laid down a challenge.

Five teams of three had two hours to build and launch a business from start to finish — including:

Coming up with the idea
Designing the offer
Writing the copy
Building & publishing the site
Recording the VSL
Launching ads, content & marketing
Taking sales calls

And, if possible, generating sales.

All in two hours.

Then I put up a $1000 cash prize for the team who got furthest, and who I judged most likely to hit 7 figures within 12 months.

At first, it sounded insane.

(doesn’t launching a business take, like, months?)

But I had a point to prove.

So we broke into teams, laid the cash on the table, set the timer, and hit go.

Two hours later, every single team had a business fully online, and two teams actually generated sales.

Were the businesses perfect?

No, but they were surprisingly solid.

The offers were strong, the copy was good, the pages looked clean, and most importantly:

They were live.

They had real momentum, which is the one thing 99% of businesses don’t have, because most founders spend months thinking and consuming instead of creating and doing.

The point I wanted to prove is this:

You can go way, way faster than you think you can.

And, if you actually looked under the hood of the most successful businesses today…

You would not find a rare intelligence or a genius idea.

You would find a founder who is just way more fxcking aggressive than you’re allowing yourself to be.
